COOKIE POLICY

The Birra Mastino S.r.l. website uses cookies and similar technologies to allow normal navigation and use of the site. This document intends to provide detailed information on the type of cookies used and how they are used and managed by Birra Mastino S.r.l.

1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send to their terminal, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit by the same user. While browsing a site, the user may receive cookies on their terminal set by a website or web server other than the one the user is visiting (so-called “third parties”). This is because on each site there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains) that reside on servers other than that of the site visited.

2. What are cookies used for?
Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations regarding users who access the server, storing preferences, etc.

3. What are technical cookies
They are cookies that are used to navigate or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for any other purpose and are usually installed by the website owner. Without the use of these cookies some operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and/or less secure. These cookies allow, for example, to establish and maintain user identification within the session, thus proving essential. The duration of technical cookies is limited to the work session (they are deleted once the browser is closed). The user’s consent is not required for the installation of technical cookies, while it is necessary to provide the information.

4. What are analysis and performance cookies
They are cookies used to collect and analyze traffic and use of the site anonymously. These cookies, while not identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the user returns to connect at different times. They allow you to monitor the system and improve its performance and use. Deactivating these cookies can be done without any loss of functionality. They are assimilated to technical cookies if the service is anonymized.

5. What are profiling cookies
They are cookies used to track (anonymously or otherwise) the user’s browsing on the internet and create profiles on his tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies, advertising messages can be transmitted to the user’s terminal in line with the preferences already expressed by the user while browsing online.
Profiling cookies can be installed on the user’s terminal only if consent has been expressed after having been informed in simplified ways.

6. Duration of cookies
Some cookies remain active only until the browser is closed. Other cookies, however, “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available upon subsequent access by the user. The latter cookies are called persistent. In some cases, at the time of their creation, a deadline is set. In other cases the duration is unlimited.

By browsing the site it is possible to interact with sites managed by third parties.
